Ana and her two kids live in the anonimity of the suburbs. She cares for sick people to earn a living; but her little daughter requires a lot more, so much so that it puts their delicate life at risk.
ಅನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಉಪನಗರವೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಾಮಧೇಯರಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವಳು, ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯ ಪೀಡಿತ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವಳ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟರ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕಾಳಜಿಯ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆಯೆಂದರೆ, ಅದು ಅವರ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾದ ಬದುಕನ್ನೇ ಅಪಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Carina Piazza (b. 1973) and Lucía Bracelis (b. 1980) are Argentine filmmakers from the Mendoza province; they also teach film. Co-writers/directors of the web series LA VIDA TRANQUILA (2020) and the feature film BEFORE THE BODY, they have written and directed, separately, scripts for fiction series, short films, and documentaries, among them LA NOCHE ADENTRO (feature, 2023), UN PAÍS DENTRO DE UN PAÍS (docuseries, 2023), NEBULO (series, 2021), ELLA TAMBIÉN (collective feature, 2019) and RELATOS DE MENDOZA (docuseries, 2012). BEFORE THE BODY is Lucía's first feature film as director, and Carina's second.
