DRAGONFLY tells the story of an unlikely bond between two neighbours. Colleen, adrift and searching for purpose, becomes increasingly concerned by the neglect faced by her elderly neighbour, Elsie. Frustrated by the indifference of professionals meant to care for her, Colleen steps in, offering companionship, attention, and a sense of dignity that Elsie has been denied. What begins as an act of kindness slowly deepens into dependency, raising questions about control, intention, and responsibility. As Colleen’s motivations are challenged, tensions escalate toward a tragic and devastating conclusion. The film is a tense, intimate exploration of care, loneliness, and moral uncertainty.
