"Woman: Shared Sensibilities, A Collective Voice for Equality"
Ahmet, a 15 year old boy from a remote Yuruk village in North Macedonia, finds refuge in music while navigating his father’s expectations, a conservative community, and his first experience with love, a girl already promised to someone else.

Georgi M. Unkovski (b. 1988) is a Macedonian writer‑director born in New York, moves between cultures as easily as he moves between art forms. Educated in Fine Arts at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Eastman School of Photography and later at FAMU in Prague, he brings a photographer’s eye and a cinephile’s curiosity to his work. Now based in Skopje, he directs commercials and nurtures films through Cinema Futura, gradually building a body of work that peaks, so far, with the award‑laden short STICKER (2019). DJ AHMET is his debut feature film.
