Armed with a tape recorder, Apichatpong Weerasethakul travels through Thailand inviting strangers to build a shared story. Each person continues the narrative where the last one stopped, creating a collective tale about a young disabled boy and his teacher. The storytellers come from very different worlds, including street vendors, a boxer obsessed with television, a devout policewoman, and a lonely rubber tapper. As more voices join in, the story grows stranger, richer, and more unpredictable. The film becomes a playful portrait of imagination, community, and the many lives that shape a single narrative.
