The murder after 25 years in a sleepy Malnad town brings the life of the local investigating inspector into disarray and takes him back to the murder that happened in the very town 25 years ago.
1997ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲ್ನಾಡಿನ ಒಂದು ನಿಶ್ಯಬ್ದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ವೃದ್ಧನ ಸಾವು ಸಹಜವಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಕೊಲೆ ಎಂದು ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದಾಗ ಊರಿನ ಜನತೆ ಬೆಚ್ಚಿಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತನಿಖೆ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿಲ್ಲದ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹಂತಕರತ್ತ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಅನುಭವದಲ್ಲಿ ನವೀನನಾಗಿರುವ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಅದು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು ಎಂಬುದೇ ಕಥೆ.
