After losing a friend, a group of children find joy in a new companion, only for him to be forced away by adults’ misunderstanding. Refusing to give up, the children support one another and try to bring their friend back, slowly changing the mindset of those around them. The film also reflects on environmental decay, health, education, and how sensitive truth-tellers are often ignored or suppressed.
ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ಒಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮುಗ್ಧ- ಮನಸಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತನೆಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದ ಒಂದು ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹಕ್ಕಿಯು ಕಾಣದಾದಾಗ, ಅದೇಕೆ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬರಲು ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಕಂಗಾಲಾಗುವರು. ಶಾಲಾ ಗುರುಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆದು ಮರಳಿ ನಿಸರ್ಗದೆಡೆಗೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವರು.

Dhananjay K H known by his pen name Garghee Karehaiklu. Holding a Master’s degree in Kannada Literature, he began his career writing for newspapers and television before becoming a full-time independent writer. His creative work spans cinema, poetry, and fiction. His debut film SHESHU in 2013 won the Karnataka State Award for Best Child Artist. ANUTTARA was selected for BIFFes in 2018, and in 2020 he received a Karnataka State Award nomination for Best Lyricist. His film ANTARMUKHA 2022 strengthened his reputation. He has authored AGNIVARSHA and KAADU ARALUVA SAMAYA, with AGNIVARSHA adapted into an award-winning film.
