75 ವರ್ಷದ ವೃದ್ಧ ಮಹಿಳೆಯೊಬ್ಬಳು, ಹಾರಾಟದ ಮೇಲಿನ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಬಹುದಿನಗಳ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಸಾಕಾರಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು, ಅಮೆಜಾನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದೋಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಟುತ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಕಣ್ಗಾವಲು ಮತ್ತು ಬಲವಂತದ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೇರಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಗುವ ಈ ಪಯಣ, ಮುಗ್ಧವೆನಿಸಿದರೂ ಬಂಡಾಯಭರಿತವಾದ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಯ ದಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಸಹಕಾರ, ಪ್ರತಿರೋಧ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಕನಸಿನ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಈ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ, ಶಾಂತವಾಗಿ ಆದರೆ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಎದುರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಕಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

HIGH-RISE (2009), AVENIDA BRASILIA FORMOSA (2010), and HOUSEMAIDS (2012) are examples of his documentaries. AUGUST WINDS (2014) and the TIFF Official Selection NEON BULL (2015) are examples of his fiction. THE BLUE TRAIL is his latest film.
