As the line between mentorship and manipulation blurs, 12 year old Daan faces a frightening inner conflict. He admires his football coach Ries, who slowly becomes a central figure in his life and begins to exploit that trust. What feels like attention and encouragement gradually turns into control and abuse. Daan’s behaviour changes as he withdraws from his family, skips school, and becomes increasingly volatile. Caught between shame, loyalty, and confusion, he struggles to understand what is happening to him and how to find a way back to safety and himself.
